We are from all walks of life, from many different cultural backgrounds and of all ages. It is our common faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, that brings us together. We desire to be a church that shares God's vision, of being a gathering of people from every tribe, tongue and nation, who come together to worship Him in the Spirit and truth. It is so incredibly wonderful that ordinary people like us can share in the joy of worshipping God together. Giving praise and honour and glory to God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
“So you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God's people and members of God's household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the chief cornerstone. In Him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in Him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by His Spirit.”
It is only by grace that we now share in the joy of knowing God. Once we were far from God lost in our sins as we lived life without Him and against Him. But we give praise to God! Who is slow to anger and abounding in love. He was willing through the death of Jesus Christ his Son on the cross to forgive us all our sins, to redeem our lives from Hell, and to crown us with His love and compassion. Now we rejoice knowing that all our sins have been taken away, we have received new in life in the Spirit and His love is with us from everlasting to everlasting. As high as the heavens are above the earth so great is His love for us! We truly long for you also to share in God's great love and mercy.
“Speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into Him who is the Head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.”
Having been saved by grace through faith Jesus Christ we now live for the glory of God. Day by day we seek to grow in our love for God for He has loved us so freely and so much. We want to obey the greatest commandment, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind." We also want to obey the second greatest commandment, "You shall love your neighbour as your self." Jesus said the world will know we truly belong to Him if we have love for one another. And so Jesus calls us to not be selfish. but in humility to consider others better than ourselves, to not look only to our interests but also to the interest of others. In short, because we now live for God we want our lives to become more and more like Jesus
